How to Install a Traffic Cam or
Webcam
Installing a Webcam or Traffic Cam:
Installing a webcam or traffic cam is easy.
Basically, you will need a webcam and webcam software that
automatically uploads to a server. If you
would like instructions on installing the traffic camera yourself,
please see the information below. If you would like us to install
the traffic cam for you to use on our NH Traffic Cams.com site, we
charge only a small fee. Either way, if you own a business, you will
get free advertising for as long as you allow us to use the images
you generate from your traffic cam. If you do not own a business we
can donate the web page to a charity of your choice or we can create
a family page for you. All other ideas will be considered in
exchange for setting up a traffic cam at your location.
Have us Install your Traffic Cam:
Depending on the cam you select, a complete
installation (in New Hampshire only) starts at only $95 one-time fee! For this low cost, you
obviously must allow NH Traffic Cams.com to use the web cam images on our
site. The only possibility for additional charges to install the
web camera are if an extension cable is needed (up to 10 feet) is $30,
or if you want a higher quality camera. For different web cameras,
the price varies. Please contact us for pricing. If you buy the
web cam ahead of time, and install the webcam software yourself, we are
still available to complete the installation of the software and
connect you to our site for a minimal fee of $50
